Got a call from some dodgy folks claiming to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my phone line. They wanted me to log into my computer, but I told them I just had an iPad. The bloke was really pushing for me to get a laptop instead. Then I asked why they were calling from BT when I’m actually with Virgin Fibre. He said he’d pass me onto his manager. Next thing I know, another guy comes on the line saying he's from Virgin and the call had been passed to them. I gave him a bit of a mouthful for wasting my time, and he just hung up.
