It appears to be a pesky automated line for PPI claims, just another nuisance call interrupting my day.

Got a call from some company claiming I was owed money from old bank loans. When I asked which bank, they just said it could be any bank going back to the 1980s. Pretty clear it was a PPI scam cold call. I told them I wasn’t interested and didn’t trust them, then hung up. Just as I ended the call, the guy on the other end shouted, “You snooze, you lose,” but I wasn’t having any of it and cut him off straight away.
