Received a call I wasn't keen on - chose not to pick up.

I had an encounter with a dodgy character who claimed to be representing my internet provider. He mentioned he was there to sort out the problems I had been experiencing with my internet service. Then, without a moment's hesitation, he said he'd transfer me to a 'senior technician'. I thought it best to block him right away!

I got a call from this number but as soon as I answered, they just ended it. Then I tried ringing them back and it said the number doesn’t exist or can’t be found.

Had a weird run-in with some internet scammers. I asked the woman on the line which operating system I was running and she had no clue, then she handed me over to some "senior tech." When I asked him the same question, he just kept going with his usual script. I told him straight up I wasn’t falling for it, and next thing he’s shouting insults at me and hangs up. They even copied a local number - pretty sneaky of them!
