Got a call earlier today claiming there were suspicious charges on my visa debit card - £750 to some wine place in Canada - and to press 1 if I wanted to sort it out. Straight away, I hung up and rang my bank, who confirmed there was no dodgy activity on my account. I've reported the incident both to my bank and Action Fraud because these scams seriously need sorting. I've also blocked the number to be on the safe side.
