I’ve been getting calls from 01528 numbers too, supposedly from Laggan up in the Scottish Highlands. Seems a bit dodgy to me, maybe linked to some insurance claim mess going around recently.

Just like others have said, these lot are definitely scammers. They've got hold of UK landline numbers, but if you try and ask where they're calling from just to check if it matches the area code, they just won't give you a straight answer.

Beware, this is a total rip-off! I called back and ended up getting charged just to hear some stupid music. Don't fall for it!
