3 yearsGot a voicemail from a woman saying, "this is the bank security team," about two charges on my account - one around £200 at Tesco, and another one for £1100 sent abroad, apparently to Mexico. The message told me to press 1 if I wanted to approve them. They never said which bank or card it was, so instantly knew it was a scam and blocked the number. The caller ID started with 01559, which is a Llandysul number, about 30 miles northwest of Swansea. This was the first time I’ve come across a scam like this mentioning a big transfer to Mexico.
