I received a voice message that claimed to be from Amazon, stating my credit card had been used without permission. It felt like a total scam!

So the first call was some kind of robot, I just ended it right away. Then another time a bloke rang but I couldn't catch what he was saying and he seemed to get a bit pissed off, so I just put the phone down.

Got a robo call from someone saying it was Amazon, saying there was big spending on my card without me knowing. Totally sounded fishy to me.

They work in a call centre pushing accident claims, PPI, and insurance stuff. Typical line is something like "we hear you've had an accident and it wasn’t your fault". If you’re not bothered, just put them on blocked and forget about it.
