I received a rather dodgy automated call purporting to be from Amazon Prime, stating that a sum of £79.99 was about to be taken from my bank. They asked me to press 1 to connect with a ‘manager’ for more info, which I suspect is just a ruse to fish for my bank details. The strange thing is, I've never even signed up for an Amazon Prime account! The call came from an area code linked to Llandeilo in Dyfed, Wales, which is notoriously known for these kinds of scams. Just a word of caution to everyone-stay vigilant and steer clear of these scams!
