I received a rather dodgy call from a robotic voice claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs, stating they were looking into tax fraud allegations against me. They urged me to hit button 1 to speak with my so-called case officer. Whatever you do, don’t comply with their requests! This is nothing but a scam!

So I rang them back out of curiosity and they told me they were from some company named Sun Sea and Sickness, something to do with an all-inclusive holiday I took within the last couple of years!

Got a robotic call claiming it’s HMRC. They said my name’s linked to some kind of fraud probe and threatened arrest unless I hit 1. Total nonsense.

Got a call from someone saying they needed to ask me a couple of quick household questions, claimed it’d only take a minute. Sure, like I believe that. They’ve been ringing back non-stop!
