Got a recorded message supposedly from Amazon Prime telling me my subscription had just begun and they’d be charging £39 every month via direct debit. They said to press 1 if I wanted to cancel. I pressed it, but the call just cut off. Didn’t get to speak to anyone at all. I rang Amazon after and they said I don’t have any Prime membership active and no money would be taken. I also reported the whole thing to Action Fraud. These scammers called me twice within an hour.
