Sounds like it was Benefits UK calling AGAIN. I didn’t answer, so I’m not 100% sure. Whoever runs this thing must be making a nice bit of cash because it keeps happening over and over. I guess some people must be falling for it and sending money somehow. Best to just ignore and not get involved with them.

Received a call from a number I didn’t recognise; the voice on the line seemed to have a foreign accent, and to be honest, I couldn’t quite grasp what they were saying. So, I decided to cut the conversation short and ended the call.

Got a call from someone speaking with an Asian accent, asking me to verify the names while they went through our address info. Definitely seemed like a scam trying to fish for personal details.

That number’s actually the area code for Lanarkshire, but do I have mates there? Nope! I just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know and let them ring out to voicemail. Scam callers hardly ever leave any messages anyway. Just stick to this and you won’t get caught out.
