I was dozing after my night shift and didn’t catch the ring. Looked up the number later and it seems to be from a dog boarding place somewhere in Lanarkshire? Caller ID just said unknown though.

It took me four calls before I picked up today. The bloke on the line said he was ringing from some offshore call centre and just needed a minute to ask about my home. Turns out it’s not Thorniehall Farm, the kennels and cattery in Lanarkshire after all.
