Got a call from a bloke with a bit of a Chinese accent saying he was from BT, trying to get rid of nuisance calls or something. He read my number back to me and asked if it was correct, which I said yes to. Then he went on and rattled off an address - but it was totally wrong, nothing like mine. That’s when it clicked that BT would definitely have my real address, so he was clearly not who he claimed to be. I told him I was going to hang up and just ended the call there.
