I picked up the phone since I was anticipating a few calls. From the awkward pause and the way they said "hello," it became quite clear that this wasn't someone I was waiting to hear from. I decided to hang up without engaging in conversation.

Received multiple calls from this number, yet every time I answer, it's complete silence—absolutely nothing, just dead air...

I got a call and as soon as I picked up, my little one, who's just turned one, managed to bang his finger and started wailing. They persisted, attempting to carry on with their spiel and insisted it would only be a quick five minutes. My partner, sensing the chaos, decided enough was enough and hung up. Not long after, they rang again, but this time we chose to ignore it.

I couldn't be bothered to pick up. I don't have any acquaintances from that location, so I just decided to block the number instead.
