I just got a call from an automated voice pretending to be my ‘bank’, saying that in the past 12 hours someone tried to take £300 from my Amazon account and another person tried to grab £1200! I’ve had calls like this before. Total scammers. I won’t even say the rude names I want to call them. What really gets me is the number starts with 01554 - that’s the Llanelli area code where I live. How on earth do they manage to fake local numbers like that?
