Complete bunch of fibbers. They switched the name of the person they were supposedly chatting to and even claimed they’d spoken to my dad, giving a specific date and time - on our landline. Absolutely unbelievable! My dad’s been in a care home for ages now!

So, the company calling me said they were Shell Energy, which apparently replaced Green Star Energy after they folded at the end of 2019. The person on the phone claimed I was a customer of theirs now, but that’s not right as I’ve been with another provider for a couple of years. When I told them this, they just hung up straight away! Not even a ‘thanks for your time’ or anything. I thought the number was familiar since it was a landline, but honestly, it felt annoying and pretty pushy.
