Safe cover? Recently, ive been getting nonstop calls about ppi, life insurance claims and all kinda annoying stuff. Makes me think my details been sold off somewhere. Proper annoyed by it coz i always try to keep my number private. The only big thing thats changed is ive gone self employed and got sick, ended up in hospital so had to claim uc, and gave them my number. Now im guessing my info isnt safe with those lot. SCAM ALERT - They start the call by giving your name and address, which is clearly dodgy info. Calling themselves the ‘Review Team’. They say they work with your current life insurance company, then list big names like Legal & General. They claim new life expectancy stats mean you’re paying too much. Check out other reviews for this number - they are pushy for sure. When I asked a question, the guy kinda dodged it. I pressed if my insurer shared my info with them, and all he said was “we work alongside them.” Very sketchy.

When I enquired about which firm they were representing, they kept insisting it was “one of the five largest.” After hearing that same vague answer for the fifth time, the chap on the other end simply exclaimed, “can’t be bothered with this” before abruptly hanging up.
