Some muppet called claiming to be from the "Credit Investigation Department" and then immediately accused me of having big debts! I had never even heard of such a department. I told him to send me a letter if he really needed to get in touch, then hung up straight away.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming I had unpaid taxes or something owed to the government. Pretty sure it was a scam.
