I received a call from a group claiming to be the "Green funding team" based in Kings Lynn. They had my full name and address, insisting that I qualify for some government grants due to my windows being over a decade old. Quite absurd, really, as I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service and shouldn’t have been contacted at all!

I kept hearing a racket in the background followed by an abrupt silence – it was simply frustrating and a complete waste of my time.

I've had quite a few calls from this bloke who insists on chatting about the previous occupants of my house. It's becoming a bit tedious, actually. They've rung me up five times now and still refuse to take a hint. It's rather annoying to say the least!

I've absolutely no clue about the number that popped up on my caller ID. They didn’t leave any message, and when I tried calling it back, the automated voice from BT informed me that "this number is unrecognised." Quite puzzling, really!

Just had a call from 01553963524 at 12:56 this afternoon. The individual on the other end was making some rather odd barking sounds before abruptly ending the call. I must admit, it left me feeling a bit uneasy since I live in King's Lynn. However, after browsing through the comments, I now understand it's merely a prankster with a penchant for unconventional hobbies.

I received a call from a bloke with a rather muffled voice claiming to represent some company called Green (or something akin to that). I mentioned that I couldn't hear properly and asked him to say it again, but he just hung up on me! Intrigued, I called the number back using 1471, only to find out it had been disconnected and wasn’t in use anymore. Quite dodgy, wouldn’t you say?

Received a call from 01553963524 on the 9th of October, around 7:49 PM, and it was completely silent. What on earth is anyone doing making calls at this hour? I'm rather relieved I wasn't by myself; it could've been a tad unnerving. What a bother!

I tend to keep my phone's ringtone at a whisper, allowing my voicemail to pick up instead. This way, I can filter the calls that come through. After discovering the details about this particular number, I’ve blocked it without hesitation. Simply dial 14258## and heed the prompts—it’s that straightforward! Job’s a good’un!

I received a call at a quarter past two. There were some strange sounds on the line, but no one bothered to say anything before they eventually hung up. I've since decided to block the number.

I answered the call since 01553 is my local area code, but there was complete silence. When I tried ringing them back, the number wasn’t recognized at all. A proper business would never disregard the TPS or hide their identity like that. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

There was a lot of commotion in the background, and they ended the call the moment I picked up.

I received a call from someone who alleged they had a chat with one of my neighbours, suggesting that my name had been put forth for some government initiative to upgrade double glazing as part of a green scheme. As far as I'm aware, this programme was discontinued way back in 2015. This is nothing short of harassment and reeks of a scam.

I answered the call thinking it might be Mr. xx:00xxx. I confirmed it was him amidst a bit of chatter from what sounded like an office. Suddenly, the line cut off unexpectedly.

On the 21st of September at around 11:45, I encountered a genuine woman, quite a rarity! She had a lovely British accent and was promoting a programme for replacing windows that are a decade old. Apparently, a survey crew is in my neighbourhood at the moment. I couldn’t help but mention that my windows aren't even close to that age – I had to let her know!

I received a call from that number earlier, but as soon as I picked up, the line went dead. I've promptly added it to my block list. Date: 21st September 2018, time: 3:40 PM.
