They call me every single day and I keep telling them I’m not the person they want. When I mentioned my windows were 20 years old, the guy sounded almost too excited. Also, they accidentally gave me another person’s name and address! I told them that’s a data privacy violation. Just a minute ago they phoned me four times back to back. I warned them I’d be reporting this to the police.

I got a call from The Green Funding Group in Kings Lynn earlier. They started by saying I could apply for a grant to swap out my old windows. I explained that all my windows were done just a few years ago, so then they pushed the idea of putting in a conservatory instead. When I said I wasn’t interested, the caller suddenly got rude, calling me a "stupid c##t" and then just cut me off. The number they used was 01553233454. Honestly, be careful if you get a ring from them - don’t expect any decent customer service!

Got a call from some "Green funding team" based in Kings Lynn. They had my name and address right, saying I'm qualified for some government cash because my windows are older than 10 years. Bit cheeky really, considering I'm on the TPS, they shouldn't have dialled me at all.

This evening at about 6:45 I got a call from this number and a bloke with an Asian accent started singing "All of me loves all of you" the entire time I was having my dinner and watching telly. After he stopped singing I hung about to see what would happen next, but he just cut off and the line went dead. I reckon maybe they get some sort of payment if they keep us on the line for long enough, and he was having a go at something different! Or maybe he’s just gone a bit bonkers from being cooped up with no one to chat to!

A man called with a really unclear voice claiming he was from some place called Green... or something like that. I told him I can’t hear well and asked him to say it again, but he just hung up. I got curious so I tried calling the number back from the 1471 display, but it said the number’s been cut off and isn’t working anymore.

I picked up the phone and there was a woman who gasped, then she just ended the call. After seeing some other comments, I looked into the Government site about the Green Deal. The number didn’t appear as a legit company (I’m from near Kings Lynn, so it would show if it was). Also, the Green Deal stopped providing funding back in 2015. Really strange. What’s the point in making calls like that with no reason?

They went on about saving me thousands but I just cut the call off. The number started with 01553 which is Kings Lynn, but I can’t say if that’s where the call actually originated. If it is, then they’re blatantly ignoring my telephone preference service, which honestly should be illegal and they deserve to be fined for that.

I got a call from someone who said they’d spoken to a neighbour of mine and that I’d been nominated for some government scheme to upgrade my windows with double glazing. Thing is, I’m pretty sure that scheme ended back in 2015. Honestly, the whole thing felt like a hassle and definitely a scam.

Apparently, there’s a team doing surveys nearby. I told her my windows aren’t even 10 years old. Quite different from the usual calls!
