Just like loads of other people mentioned about this 01553 number. On 19th September 2018 at 9.08 in the morning, I got this automated message with a mechanical female voice, sounding American, warning me that my TalkTalk internet would be cut off today.

Got a voicemail about my TalkTalk broadband being cut off today. Heard the same thing from a number that was just a bit different yesterday but, as usual, no action followed! I’ve gone ahead and blocked both of those numbers and let the genuine TalkTalk team know.

Got a call again today from an 01553 number, that makes it twice in a row! Both times it was just some automated message saying it was TalkTalk warning about cutting off my service. I’ve put those numbers straight on my block list now.
