Got a recorded call saying it was bt about my router being faulty. The message told me to press 1 to fix it or book a visit. Thing is, i dont even have a bt phone line!

She started by asking me about my BT router, then went on to check if I owned a laptop and what I usually do on my computer. After that, she told me to grab my tablet because apparently, someone from Afghanistan was trying to hack into my internet.

I just got a call from some automated voice that said it was from BT (which I seriously doubt). They wanted me to press '1' to book an engineer to sort out my router. I marked it as suspicious since they were asking me to do something on my phone.
