I’d like to mention another number linked to the same individuals: 01553 905590. It seems they've found a way to circumvent yet another barrier we put up against these relentless telemarketers. I've already flagged this to ico.org.uk. If we all chip in and report these nuisances, we can arm the ICO with the information they need to tackle this issue more effectively.

Received a few calls from this number and also from 01553 905590 about checking out doors and windows. A woman got in touch and set up a time to come round. I've blocked the numbers and reported them to ico.org.uk now.

An elderly lady, 88 years old, got a call late in the evening from a man wanting to come by and “check” her doors and windows for replacements. The property in question is actually a listed historic building with two parts, needing special kind of windows. Even after explaining this, the guy kept pushing to set up a visit. Eventually, a male companion stepped in, made it clear it wasn’t happening, then ended the call. That number has since been blocked.
