At about midday, I got a call from a woman with an accent that wasn’t local, saying she was with “The Green Funding Team.” When I asked where she found my number, she claimed it was from someone nearby who’s getting windows fitted. Then she went on for ages about how some stuff in my home was older than 10 years (honestly?), and that they could help fund replacements. I told her I’m not interested in random sales calls and demanded they take my info off their list. Not sure yet if they’ll keep pestering me or not.

Got a call from some Green funding crew. A really polite woman told me I might qualify for new windows on my place since mine are more than a decade old. She wanted to pop round tomorrow but I said I’d be out, then asked if someone could come the following day instead - which would be a Saturday. She pushed hard to lock in a day for next week too. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam and glad to find other comments here backing that up. Expecting them to ring back soon.

I dealt with a firm linked to First Home Improvements back in early 2019. What they pitch is some sort of “funding” supposedly from “recycling” your old windows. Truth is, this so-called funding isn’t genuine at all - it’s basically a discount they slice off their eye-wateringly high prices. So there’s no actual funding, just a clever way to make you think you’re saving. The windows themselves are decent quality but they charge way too much. Not trying to say it’s a scam or anything, just fair warning.

Honestly, the green funding lot are a complete waste of time. I heard nothing but pop tunes playing nonstop in the background whenever I spoke to them. I had dealings with them a few months back and they were absolutely hopeless. Feel bad for anyone who’s ended up dealing with these guys - not the friendliest bunch by any means.

Had a call from Green Funding earlier today, and the person on the line kept trying to get my proper name as the homeowner. When I asked them to remove me from their list, they just refused and then cut me off. Honestly, they don’t seem fussed about GDPR or any kind of data protection rules, and no sign they answer to any ICO type body. Makes me think they’re just scammers, really.

I’ve been getting constant calls from this Green funding lot even after I told them to stop, as I’m not interested at all. Lately, when I answer, I can hear them laughing on the other end. I’ve reported them to both the TPS and ICO, but I doubt anything will really change since they just keep ringing anyway. Being disabled, these calls really upset me a lot.

Today I got a call from someone saying they were with the 'Green Funding Team'. The woman was quite friendly and mentioned their office was close to Morrisons - at first I thought it might be dodgy. But I decided to have a look and seen their office for myself, turns out it’s a legit company. They deal with funding for things like old windows and doors, which I don’t really need.
