I never pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise; I just let them ring and go to voicemail. If it’s something significant, they’ll leave a message. Otherwise, I simply block them! Easy peasy!

An Indian gentleman recently inquired about my energy provider and whether I’d be interested in switching. I politely declined, mentioning that I handle it all on my own. He responded with a friendly “Alright, have a lovely day!” and that was the end of our brief chat.

I’ve refrained from picking up the phone as I keep getting these pesky fraud warning notifications. They’ve been ringing me daily for a whole week now, but not once have they bothered to leave a voicemail.

Received a missed call from a number that claims to be from King’s Lynn, though I don’t have any acquaintances in that area. After reading the remarks left by others, I’ve decided to block the number. Seems fairly dodgy to me!

The call kicked off with the usual pleasantries, but then it abruptly ended on their side. After going through the remarks from others, I've decided to block and erase yet another number.

Received a phone call from someone in India, their English was quite lacking. It didn't take long for me to realise it was likely a scam, so I ended the call promptly.

I just had a ring from this number, but I chose not to pick up. When I tried to return the call, I was met with a recorded message advising me to ring back during office hours. They didn’t bother to specify what sort of business they are, which I found rather odd.

This number keeps ringing me, day in and day out, and I'm receiving voicemails from various mobile numbers to dodge being blocked. Honestly, I've never shown any inclination towards this business that would justify their incessant calls. Their approach to sales is nearly harassment level, and I've made sure to report it.

Just had a call from a number I don't recognise, literally a minute ago, and they didn’t bother to leave a message. If it was something crucial, surely they would have taken the time to jot down a note, wouldn't they?

I didn't get a response, but Truecaller identifies this number as a probable sales scam. There are numerous other variations of this number that appear as well. I usually just block them immediately.

I received a call on my mobile from this number, and when I picked up, there was utter silence. After a brief moment, I hung up the call. It clearly seems like some dodgy con or scam. I reckon they might be keeping the line open, banking on me ringing back or hoping some unsuspecting soul does. They could be lurking on the line, masquerading as someone I might know to fool me into disclosing personal information for their fraudulent schemes. It's definitely a scam - best to add this number to the blocked list!

I recently received a call where the person inquired about my age range, living circumstances, job situation, and ultimately which gas provider I'm using. I'm fairly certain it was related to a gas company, though the line was rather sketchy, and the woman had a strong accent that made it tricky to understand her.
