I called Circlewaste for some skip hire and rubbish collection, and while they did seem a bit pricey, probably because they act as a middleman, they genuinely seem like a proper company. Not a scam or anything dodgy, just costs more than I expected.

So these lot say they're a local skip hire firm called Martins SKIPS and boast 'CAN BEAT ANY QUOTE'! Turns out they’re not legit at all. I got hit with a bill of £366 for an 8 yard skip despite being quoted £305 including VAT at first. I honestly thought their skips might come with some kind of luxury finish or something. After some digging, I came across a proper local company called A1 Skip Hire who did the job for just £270, including VAT. Much better deal!
