I've noticed that my phone flags this as an international call, yet it later displays the number 01553 233454 in the finer details. Strangely, the caller never bothers to leave a message, and when I answer, it's just dead air before they hang up. I've taken to blocking these calls, but it seems they're employing a different number each time, making it a continuous nuisance. Is there no proper channel for reporting such bothersome numbers? I thought cold calling was against the law now, or have I got that wrong?

I decided to stay silent for a moment, hoping for some more elaboration. With a hint of sarcasm, she remarked, "So you don’t want to chat with me then," mumbled something inaudibly, and promptly hung up. Well, there goes another two minutes wasted on an unsolicited call.
