This number has rung me about 4 times over the past three days, but whenever I answer, no one says a word and then just ends the call.

This number buzzes my phone repeatedly throughout the day, yet whenever I pick up, there’s just silence on the other end. It's truly infuriating!

Following up on my comment from yesterday, I got a call again today from the same number but all I could hear was noise from what sounded like a call centre in the background. I've been signed up with the TPS for ages, yet their site says this type of call might not be covered by them. Because of that, I've gone ahead and reported the matter to Ofcom.

Had a call this morning from a lady named Sarah claiming to be from BT - obvious scam! I just shot back, “Who’s this?” and she hung up straight away. Same thing happened the other day with another Indian lady, trying to get me to switch on my computer. When I told her I couldn’t, she asked why, so I said I’d lost both hands in an accident - had her puzzled! I’m putting together a list of weird and funny replies to use against these scammers. Any oddball ideas welcome. Gotta fight these muppets somehow!

I've received numerous calls from different numbers recently, including this one, and it’s always the same lady with an Asian accent claiming to represent BT. It feels very much like one of those scams where individuals, often with an Asian accent, ring you up pretending to be from Windows. I tend to hang up straightaway and then make sure to block the numbers. I’d highly recommend you do the same!

In just a couple of days, this number has rung me twice but when I answer, there's just dead silence. It really ought to be looked into by the proper officials, and whoever’s behind it should be punished properly under the law. I’m a pensioner, and I really don’t want to deal with this kind of bother.

A woman has been ringing me from BT Openreach, and she's quite relentless. She's called me five times over the last couple of days. I actually picked up the first two calls and firmly asked her to cease contacting me. The last three times, I was unfortunately out and missed her. She really doesn’t seem to get the message!

I had a rather peculiar interaction with the caller, who was trying to keep the dialogue flowing in a rather repetitive manner. I asked her to allow me to conduct a security verification and clarify whether my service provider was BT, Talk Talk, or someone else entirely. Unfortunately, she was unable to provide that bit of information. My next line of questioning was going to be about my most recent payment to BT, but instead of addressing it, she just kept saying “a lot” without confirming anything specific. It felt quite obvious that she had an agenda and wasn’t going to comply with my requests. Eventually, she decided to terminate the call abruptly. Quite the odd experience, I must say!

I just got a ring from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was ringing from BT Openreach, saying my internet was infected or something. I cut her off halfway and asked her name. She said Clara Smith - yeah right, if that's true then I'm David Beckham! We run a small business here. I asked her again where she was calling from and she stuck to Openreach. Then I requested her phone number, and she went, "Oh blimey, you’re asking too many questions now." I told her, "Well, I’m suspicious because none of this sounds legit." She put the phone down on me. Caller ID showed 01550 822405.

On the 16th of November, 2016, I had a rather unsettling call from a woman with an Asian accent, purportedly representing BT. She insisted that there were issues occurring with my computer. However, whenever I tried to clarify her statements, she became increasingly hostile and began to shout. I firmly informed her that I wouldn't tolerate such behaviour, and subsequently, I ended the call.

Today, I've received three calls from this number, not to mention several missed ones over the past few days. An Asian woman claims to represent BT Openreach, stating that there's an issue with my broadband that’s riddled with errors and warnings. She insists I must access my computer so she can demonstrate the so-called problem. Of course, I didn’t give in and log on, but I must admit, her tenacity is quite impressive!

This number has rung me a few times now. I decided to humour them today, but then I called them out. I asked how they manage to live with themselves, trying to scam people like that. In response, they just kept telling me to shut up and then said awful things about my sister and daughter - absolutely disgusting.

Today, I received a phone call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT. She mentioned that there were some unauthorised attempts to access my computer at specific times while I was using it. When I probed her for more details, she insisted she had my BT account number. At that point, I decided to end the conversation.

Just like everyone else, she claimed to be with BT Openreach, waffling on about some computer issue. I decided to indulge her for a bit, as keeping her on the line prevents her from pestering anyone else who might actually buy into the ruse.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, telling me my computer had issues. I told her I wasn’t a BT customer and questioned why she was ringing me out of the blue. Then she just snapped at me and told me to buzz off. Proper scammers, don’t trust ’em.

Earlier today, I received a call from this number, and a young woman, who had an Asian accent, informed me that she was calling regarding my computer. When I inquired if it was concerning a virus, she clarified that it was actually about an 'infection.' Naturally, I probed further, asking if it was the bacterial sort since, to my knowledge, viruses and bacteria are the only common infections. Shortly after, there was some background noise, and a man took over the line. I reiterated my understanding that infections generally fall into two categories: viruses and bacteria. He then audaciously insisted there were three, and the third, extremely vulgar infection, was supposedly 'up my backside.' He went on to say he would ‘remove’ it. I hung up immediately, utterly appalled.

Got a call from some place claiming to be BT Openreach, saying my computer was apparently 'emitting' loads of viruses. I told them I wasn’t sure what they meant, and the guy just let out this big sigh like I was an idiot, insisting there was an issue with my PC. I told him to ring back when he had a clearer connection because I couldn't catch a single word he said. After reading what others have experienced, I reckon I might mess about with him a bit next time.

Got a call a few minutes ago from someone saying they had some details about my BT internet. When is this gonna end? Someone else mentioned BT might be returning to the UK soon, but no one seems sure when. Fingers crossed these irritating calls disappear by then. I’m quite old, but luckily I recognise these kinds of pestering calls.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming they were from Bt openreach, but honestly they didn’t know anything about my computer. Just a heads up, these guys usually target older people who aren’t really sure what’s going on, so best to just hang up straight away. It’s about time the authorities cracked down on these kinds of scams for good.

I just had a rather odd phone call today from the number 01550823405. The person on the line was a woman, and she spoke with an Asian accent. She claimed to be representing BT, informing me that they had detected potential hacking attempts on my internet connection. She went on to say that BT technicians were in my area addressing the issue and requested that I log into my computer. It struck me as quite peculiar that I would need to do that for them to sort things out. I firmly told her I wouldn't be logging in, as I couldn't verify her authenticity, and promptly ended the call.

I received a call from the number mentioned above, claiming to be from BT. They insisted there were issues with my phone line and urged me to turn on my computer. To put it mildly, I didn’t stick around for any more of their nonsense and promptly ended the call. I can’t help but think that some unsuspecting individuals might actually follow their instructions. Got a call around 12:50 in the afternoon from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach. He told me there was some suspicious activity on my computer. I just said ‘right’. Then he offered to help me fix it by walking me through some steps on my PC. I replied ‘alright’. Next, he asked if I could log into my computer so he could guide me. I responded with ‘I don't even own a computer, mate’. He just hung up straight away! Sorted.

Got a call from a guy speaking with an Asian accent this morning around 7.45am, using this number. He claimed to be calling from BT and said there was an issue with my computer. Total scam, obviously. Just a heads up to anyone who might be more easily tricked - if your computer really had a problem, you'd already know about it, not some random caller! Be careful out there.
