11 yearsThis bloke rings me all the time, it’s a guy with a foreign accent telling me I need to sort my debt. I told him to stop calling but he just said he’d keep phoning anyways. Number popping up is 0154987822.11 yearsI got a call about some PPI thing and they kept shifting me between departments. Kept asking the same questions over and over, so I just nodded along. Then I said if they weren’t linked to the bank or any government body, I wasn’t interested. Told them they were useless and just lying to me, then they just hung up suddenly.11 yearsToday I kept getting calls from this number, all from people with foreign accents. I kept saying I didn’t know anything and couldn’t give any details. It felt really off. When they called yet again, I got a bit suspicious because I’d already been transferred through three different voices - super strange. I told the caller I’d checked online and loads of others reckon this number’s a scam. He got pretty defensive and said it was just some internet thing… definitely fishy.11 yearsGot a call just like this earlier, and I was suspicious from the start. Before the caller could finish, I told him to wait as someone was knocking at my door. After about 10 minutes, I checked back and the line was dead. These scammers are definitely getting sneaky - the phone showed a British number instead of saying 'unknown' like they usually do. Number that showed up was 0154987822.11 yearsYet another overseas scammer attempting to con folks. I shell out more than £16 a month to BT, and they dont do squat to block these annoying calls. Since all calls pass through BT servers, surely they could do something about stopping them. I use Panasonic phones myself cause they have this CALL BLOCK feature - when one of these numbers pops up, u just send it to the block list with 3 buttons and the phone stops it ringing next time. - number: 01549 87822BT11 yearsI got two calls from this number. The first was on 20th January, a man who called himself Rob said he was with some company called PPI Claims. He had my name and address and claimed he could help me get £2000 back for a loan I supposedly had between 2003 and 2007. When I asked where he got my info, he said the FSA. I told him I don’t deal with cold calls and he just hung up on me. Then, the next day, 21st January, a woman called with the same story. I told her I already got a call yesterday and wasn’t interested, then ended the call. Number was 0154987822.RobPPI ClaimsFSA11 yearsI just received a call from this number. Like others have mentioned, they claimed I owed money on a loan supposedly taken out back in 2009. When I asked for the company’s name, the caller kept pressing me for my address details. I refused until he told me who they were. He eventually said it was BPI Reclaims, but his accent made it tough to catch what he was saying. Then I asked where they’d got my phone number from, and he abruptly hung up. I've never had that loan, and I don’t know how they even found my number since it’s ex-directory. Definitely don’t share your info with them. If you did have a loan, sort it out directly with your lender. Also, the guy gave his name too quickly and wasn’t easy to understand.BPI Reclaims11 yearsGot a call from a strange voice with an accent claiming to be from Lloyds bank in London. They said I was due a £4000 refund and asked for me by name. When I asked some questions, the caller just hung up. Number was 0154987822.Lloyds BankLondon11 yearsThe person on the phone was really difficult to make out. He kept going on about some loan from like 15 years back, but I've never taken out any loan. He ended up accusing me of lying, so I just ended the call.Submit Your Own Report (01549 87822)
