This number rang me on my home phone at about 1:34 pm today. It turned out to be a scam. A taped voice claimed to be from my internet provider, warning that my broadband would be cut off within a day because of suspicious activity linked to my account. They urged me to press 1 to chat with a tech or account manager to stop the disconnection. Of course, I didn’t press anything and just hung up as soon as the message finished.
