Total scam! They were after my personal information, claiming I was due an energy refund. The person on the other end had an Asian accent and struggled with English—very dodgy indeed.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau. When I inquired about how he got my number, he abruptly disconnected the line. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I've had this same chap ring me twice recently, each time from a different number. The first call was supposedly from some insurance assessors, and the next was from the Citizens Advice Bureau. Talk about being a bit of a globetrotter!

I received a rather peculiar phone call asking me a series of questions about COVID vaccinations. They were curious if I had received all the shots, whether I’ve ever had the virus myself, if I know anyone currently afflicted with it, and even inquired about my life insurance. The whole conversation lasted barely two minutes before they abruptly ended the call. Very strange indeed!

I received a dubious call from someone claiming to be with the NHS, probing me about COVID and then steering the conversation towards life insurance. Seemed rather suspicious!

Received a call purporting to be from the Covid-19 Helpline. They inquired about my vaccination status before swiftly transitioning to a pitch for life insurance. When I burst into laughter, the caller promptly ended the call!

I received a call from this number claiming to represent the NHS! Given that I’m employed within the NHS, I found it quite dodgy. They were inquiring about side effects of the Covid vaccine and then veered into personal territory, asking about life insurance. It's definitely not the way the NHS operates!

Total sham artist! Seriously, give them a wide berth—don’t engage or return their calls. While blocking their number won’t necessarily put an end to the nuisance, it’s perfectly alright to ignore them completely. Stay savvy!

Just had a right peculiar experience with Newlane. They offered me a callback option but left me hanging for ages! In the end, I decided to hang up and block them. They claimed they needed to have a word about my account, but I haven't the foggiest who they are. Is this the latest trend in wasting people's time?

Received a call from them, and they were prattling on about going through their files, inquiring whether I’d had both doses of the Covid jab. Quite frankly, it’s none of their concern, so I decided not to engage and promptly disconnected the call.
