Received a call purporting to be from Go Compare regarding an insurance matter. The caller was eager to speak to someone with a rather tricky surname that I couldn't quite wrap my head around!

I received a missed call from 01548859431, so I thought I’d ring back. A man picked up and simply said “hello,” but before I could say anything, the line went silent. Seems like it could be a dodgy call, if you ask me.

I didn't recognise the number when it flashed up as "Kingsbridge, England," so I decided to decline the call, which diverted it to my voicemail. Upon checking the message, I only heard a series of engaged tones with no actual message left. I promptly deleted the voicemail and blocked the number, sensing it was likely a questionable call.

When I picked up the phone, it instantly redirected me to another unfamiliar number after a brief dialling sound. A woman on the other end, sounding as if she was in a bustling call centre with all the background chatter, was there. Before she could explain the purpose of her call, I ended the conversation.

I'm not inclined to pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers anymore, as they've consistently turned out to be dodgy. However, this particular number keeps ringing me, sometimes up to four times a day!

The moment I picked up the call, I was greeted by a ringtone that immediately set off alarm bells in my mind. Scam alert! I promptly hung up without hesitation.

Every time I picked up, it was like I’d dialled them myself, hearing that incessant ringing. I tried a couple more times out of curiosity, but I’ve had enough of it now, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I've received numerous calls from this number, but whenever I try to respond, there's absolute silence on the other end. Oddly enough, it seems to initiate a call to a different number afterwards. I'm quite apprehensive about this; it definitely raises some alarming red flags for me!

I just received a call from this number a short while ago (25/09/2019 at 12:47). When I answered, it sounded as though the line was connecting to someone else, as if I was making an outgoing call. I decided to disregard it; clearly not something worth my time.
