Got a call around 9.45am today from someone saying they were passing on a message from BT about my landline and broadband being cut off. They told me to press 1 or 2 to hear more. Then, a bit later at 10.30am, a very similar call came through but from a different number. I guess they were trying to get me to ring a premium rate line, so I didn’t bother pressing any buttons like the recorded voice suggested.
