I got a call from this number around 7:40 on Saturday morning, and as soon as I figured out it was a scam, I just ended the call.

It's funny how decent folks know better than call at half past seven on a Saturday morning, yet dodgy numbers seem to think it's the perfect time to bother you. Maybe they’re hoping you’re groggy enough not to hang up straight away!

i got a call from a guy with an asian accent who said “hi, this is david from bt, your internet company”. I replied “oh yeah?” and then he just cut the call. kinda weird, especially since my internet isn’t even through bt.
