I picked up the phone and it just went silent. I was actually waiting for a call from somewhere near that number, and my phone’s been acting up lately, so I tried calling back a couple of times but got nothing each time. Fingers crossed they don’t use this to send more scam calls, they’re really annoying!

I received a call on my mobile yesterday afternoon, but the line went silent as soon as I picked up. To complicate matters, I was anticipating a call from a number that was quite similar, and my phone seemed to be misbehaving itself. I attempted to return the call twice, but each time the line went dead. Now, I've come to the realisation that the call was from someone completely different than I was expecting. I do hope I haven't inadvertently opened the floodgates to more of those pesky phishing calls, as they can be such a pain!
