I got two calls this week from someone saying £600 was taken from my Visa card. At first, the person claimed to be from CyberBank. When I mentioned I'd verify with BT, she switched to saying she was with BTI and then just hung up on me. Today, I got another call where they asked me to press 1, which I did, and then the caller just said 'bye' and ended the call.

Got a bunch of calls today, about seven or so, all from some recorded Visa message. I've been blocking every time they ring, but honestly, it’s just getting way too much now and feels like proper harassment.

Just like others pointed out, this was supposed to be an emergency call. I'm pretty sure it was one of those automated messages saying there was a dodgy £600 transaction on my account. It told me to press 4 if I hadn’t made the payment. Yeah right, as if I’m gonna fall for that!

@ got a call from a woman with a kinda transatlantic accent saying she was from Visa Secure, telling me there was a £600 charge on my card. She asked me to press 1 to talk to someone about it. Seems it’s the same old scam but with a new number i hadn’t seen before, even reported some similar ones earlier. Don’t press 1, just hang up straight away. They’re fishing for your card details, so best to avoid them.
