I got a call about some accident claim and it felt really dodgy. They said I could get a few grand back from an old accident I had, but then they asked for my card details straight away to pay some kind of setup fee. Obviously, that screams credit card scam to me. Honestly, watch out for these types of calls - they're proper risky!

Got two calls from this number earlier today. We usually just ignore calls from numbers we don’t recognise because we get flooded with spam, and they never bother to leave a voicemail anyway.

Scam caller: “Our files indicate you've had a mishap.” Me: “Oh really? When did that occur?” Scam caller: “Could you please provide us with further details?” Me: “I’m a bit lost, actually. Was I gravely hurt? Should I perhaps seek medical assistance?” Scam caller: “We require your account of the incident.” Me: “Honestly, I can’t recall. I might have misplaced my noggin!” Scam caller: Just block this number, it’s not worth your time!
