I've had this lot phoning me like mad, at least six calls so far, saying my iPhone and computer are getting hacked and some cash was stolen from my Amazon account. I rang up my bank and turns out there's nothing wrong. I'm planning to get in touch with my provider, Talk Talk, about this whole mess.

Got a ring from this number today. The person on the line didn’t even bother to use my name, just claimed they were calling from BT about some issue with my internet. I straight up told them I wasn’t with BT and that it sounded dodgy. They hung up pretty quick after that.

My partner got about 25 calls in just 20 minutes from this number. Every time he tried to end the call, either he or they would hang up first. The person on the other end claimed to be a solicitor. They insisted we could get money from a claim but wanted our bank info - as if we'd just hand it over like that! The bloke sounded Asian, maybe Pakistani, and was quite pushy and rude. Got a call from some bloke claiming my internet was down, wanted me to fire up a laptop. Told him I only use my phone, no laptop available. After that, I just ended the call, saw another ring from the same number, ignored it, and then blocked it for good.

Every day, I keep getting calls from this same number. Even after I blocked it, they still manage to leave me voicemails regularly. The very first message said it was from EE, but the ones after that have been really strange - one even had someone breathing heavily. Just earlier today, there was a message telling me to press 1 or they'd take £99.99 from my bank. It's worrying and pretty annoying!

I got a call claiming to be from Amazon, saying I’d been wrongly charged £99 for Amazon Prime. They told me to press 1 for assistance. Took me a second to spot it was a con. Really dodgy! Once, I actually pressed 1 on a similar call and the bloke on the other end swore at me repeatedly when I called it out as a scam. If a number looks sketchy, best just block it straight away.

I got a call from this woman with an Indian accent saying there was a problem with my internet, but she couldn’t even tell me which provider I’m with. She went on about helping improve my slow speed, which I just laughed off ‘cos I don’t even have internet service. She hung up on me, but then rang back after about ten minutes. I told her I was going to report her for harassment and that was the end of it.

Been getting loads of calls from some woman claiming to be from BT, but when I rang BT they said it wasn’t them. I also contacted THREE and they promised to block the number but the calls keep coming through. They keep telling me to pay £99.90 to cancel something and to press 1, which is obviously dodgy. I just ended the calls straight away. Don’t fall for these scammers, just block the number. I think they’re using a mobile number too.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang up saying there was a problem with my internet. He offered to help me reset the broadband, but as soon as I clocked what he was up to, I just laughed and said, “Oh really?!” then he hung up straightaway.

My missus got a ring from a woman with an Asian accent who said she was calling from Virgin Media about some security problems with our internet. I told her we don't have Virgin Media and if she wanted cash she should go out and find a proper job. Then she told me to jog on, so I said she just made herself look suspicious! Just a heads up, if there's ever an issue with your internet, your provider won’t ring you first. So if anyone calls saying there's a problem, just hang up and contact your ISP directly if you're worried!

Got a call from an Indian call centre claiming there was an issue with my broadband. Best advice - don’t pick up or return the call, and definitely don’t get drawn into chatting. Just block the number straight away.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who called herself Anna. She claimed to be from Sky and said my internet had been hacked and others were using it to download things. I quickly realised it was a scam since I’m not even a Sky customer. I just played along and didn’t let her know I knew it was a con. She mentioned she’d call again tomorrow to “fix” the problem. I only recognised the scam cos a mate got scammed for £14,000 after letting them onto his PC. These scammers are absolute crooks.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent saying she could fix the problems I’ve been having with my Sky internet. She wanted to connect to my network to sort things out. But as soon as I told her it sounded like a scam, she just hung up on me. Be careful!

Got a call from a woman who said her name was Caroline, but with that accent, I really doubt it! She said there was something wrong with my router, claimed it was corrupted and dangerous. When I asked where she was calling from, she said Sky, but I don't even have Sky broadband! Told her straight up I knew it was a dodgy call and a scam. She just hung up on me after that. Already blocked the number!

I got a call from someone saying they were from Virgin, saying there was loads of noise on my broadband and that hackers were trying to get into my account. They did know my address but couldn’t give me my account number, so I just ended the call. Funny enough, I’d only just had Virgin set up the day before.

This number has called me several times. I picked up once, but they just hung up right away. Next time, I didn’t answer, and they left a voicemail with a robotic voice saying they were going to take £99.99 from my bank unless I pressed 1 to stop a subscription. Got a call that claimed it was from BT, and they started by asking how I was doing. I said I was great, then there was silence on their end before they just ended the call. I’m definitely not a BT customer, so right away I figured it was one of those scam attempts, especially since they mentioned internet stuff. The voice sounded like a woman with an Indian accent.

Just got a call about some internet issue, sounded like a scam. I blocked the number and found this site to check it out. Someone mentioned reporting it to Action Fraud, so I might do that. Don’t really know if it’ll get anywhere, but if over a thousand people are getting these calls, maybe the police will step in. Can’t hurt to report it anyway, right?

I got a call from 0154753652 claiming to be Virgin Media, and since I'd been having problems with my internet, I thought it was legit. Honestly, I didn’t think to ask for any proof, and ended up letting them use this app called TeamViewer Support to get onto my phone. Before I knew it, they’d deleted my TSB app and were messing around with other stuff. I switched my phone off as soon as I caught on. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced. Now I can’t trust a soul and feel on edge all the time.

Just got a call from this number, a woman said she was from BT and that there was an issue with my internet. I told her I’m not a BT customer, but she insisted they provided the line and asked who my actual provider was. When I said TalkTalk, she said she’d transfer me there. Then a bloke came on who sounded like he was from TalkTalk too. I thought maybe they were both in the same office or something. I later looked up the number and realised it was a scam, so I told them exactly where to stick it. The guy actually said I was clever. What a load of rubbish.

Got a call bright and early at 7am from a very polite woman with an Indian accent, claiming there’s been ongoing problems with my... wait for it... Virgin BT internet! She launched straight into her pitch. I asked her for my name, IP address and MAC address to see if she really knew what she was talking about, but she just stuck to her usual script. I told her she sounded way too generic and was probably trying to scam me. She repeated herself again and again. By then, I was well annoyed, especially being woken up that early. If you get a call from these scammers, just end the call straight away and block the number - don’t bother calling them back or getting involved, it’s not worth the risk.

So this strange call came through some odd number, obviously an Indian scammer. They said there was an issue with my internet router, which is true, but then they claimed some nasty pictures were caught on my device! Since I was born with cerebral palsy, my speech and hearing aren’t great, so I often get loads of annoying spam calls that can be pretty upsetting.
