I got a call from a bloke claiming to be with BT, saying someone overseas had hacked my internet. I played along, pretending I didn’t get it, and kept him chatting for quite a while. Told him to ring back when my partner was in the house. He did ring again, but then we told him straight up we knew he was a scammer and that we’d report him using all the three numbers he’d used to call me. He was pretty pushy. The other numbers he used were 01546444555 and 01546664305.
