Got a call from this number today. I’m not one to get angry easily, but I’m really fed up with scam calls, especially from companies like TalkTalk. The other day, I was called by 01619736633 and they somehow knew my account number! Reported it straight to the police. Honestly, these scammers deserve to be dealt with harshly.

Called by someone claiming to be from Talktalk, but definitely a scam. They weren't who they said they were.

Received a call from someone claiming to be with TalkTalk, saying my internet was acting up and slowing down my gadgets. They wanted me to download some software to fix it. I instantly felt it was dodgy, so I asked the caller for their full name, and a woman said “Sarah Brown.” I told her I’d ring TalkTalk directly to check if she was legit. Suddenly, she got all defensive and rude, which confirmed my suspicions. I called TalkTalk and gave them the details - they confirmed it was definitely a scam. TalkTalk have since reported the incident to the proper authorities. It’s shocking how these scammers try to trick people who aren’t as cautious as I was!
