An Indian gentleman called me, alleging that there was fraudulent activity regarding an Amazon credit card payment linked to my account. I informed him that I don’t possess a credit card, and when I requested him to verify my address, he accurately recited it. This just goes to show that one should remain vigilant!

I received a call from a chap named Barry who had a distinct Indian accent. He claimed to be representing BT, but I'm not affiliated with them in any way, and they certainly don’t make unsolicited calls. I ended the conversation promptly and have lodged a report with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
