I saw a couple of missed calls so I decided to ring back, but some American sounding robot told me they were too busy, so I just ended the call. Then they rang me again and this time it was someone pretending to be HMRC, claiming I'd got a warrant for my arrest because of fraud! I didn’t hang about, just put the phone down and blocked them straight away. Honestly, HMRC never calls you out of the blue like that!

I got a call from some automated message supposedly from HMRC saying there was suspicious activity on my account. They told me to press 1 or else I’d face arrest. Felt a bit dodgy, so I ended up blocking the number straight away.

Got a robo call from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying there’s some fraud on my account and I should press 1. These scammers really need to be locked up, terrifying folks like this is just cruel.

Received a call from an automated message pretending to be HMRC. It said there’s a fraud case against me and to press 1 to talk. It warned me about an arrest warrant if I didn’t respond! I just ended the call and when I tried to ring them back, the line wouldn’t go through - imagine that!
