Got a recorded call saying I was involved in tax evasion, total scam. Don’t bother answering it. A couple of weeks back, I got almost the same call but from a call centre in India. Someone really needs to put an end to these nasty scams.

They said they were from HMRC Customs and threatened me with arrest, total scam! These jokers really need to be stopped by the coppers. Had calls from a couple of different numbers but I’ve blocked them all now.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from Her Majesty's office and said I owed back taxes. Turns out, it was one of those infamous HMRC scam calls. They try to freak you out by saying the police will show up in an hour if you don't cough up the tax money right away on the phone. Honestly, if you didn't know about this scam before, it can be quite alarming!
