Got a robocall claiming I'd committed tax fraud with HMRC and that if I didn't hit '1' to speak to an agent, they'd share my info and I'd get arrested. Obviously, I didn't press anything - no way HMRC would deliver such serious news via a recorded message. Blocked them straight away.

Just got a call saying there’s some problem with my taxes, supposedly from HMRC - definitely one of those dodgy scam calls about tax fraud.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me claiming he was from HMRC, saying I owed them £3000 for dodgy tax stuff. When I told him I had no cash, he kept threatening that they'd come and nick me within a day. I ended up messing about and asking daft questions just to annoy him!

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, telling me to press 1 to connect or else I’d be arrested with a warrant out for me. Seems like a total scam to me.
