Kept getting calls about loft insulation improvements, bit annoying really. They ring up all the time, trying to sell these upgrades even though I never asked for info. Not sure if it’s some sort of scam or just overly pushy salespeople. Definitely tired of picking up the phone and hearing the same spiel about insulation!

I answered the phone and a woman said she was some sort of local energy consultant, then started on about a free loft survey and discounted insulation deals. She asked me for personal info like my name, address, and if I owned the house. I told her I wasn’t going to share any details or even confirm anything unless I’d reached out to them first, not from a random call. She hung up straight away. Seemed a bit dodgy to me. Later, I tried calling the number back from another phone, it rang and someone picked up, but no words, just silence. I waited about half a minute and then it cut off. Pretty clear to me it was a scam.

I didnt say a word, but I could hear loud voices speaking some foreign language in the background. They seemed to be chatting among themselves, not realising I was on the line. Then, after a couple minutes, the call just suddenly ended.

Definitely going to block this number.

This morning I got a call from 01545 909150, some bloke with a foreign accent claiming there was an issue with my appliances. I kept asking who he was but he wouldn't say at first. After pressing him a bit, he finally admitted he was from LONDON, which instantly felt dodgy. Pretty sure it was a scam trying to get my bank info. I gave him a few blunt remarks (though he just kept talking over me) before he eventually ended the call.
