Just received a similar call from a number in Glasgow: 01410069600. Stay vigilant!

Called me at half past eight, but left me hanging. It was an unfamiliar number showing up on my device. Did a quick Google search and stumbled across some earlier remarks. I've now gone ahead and blocked it and cleared it from my records.

Received a call at 11:53 this morning claiming to be from Visa, informing me that a sum of £400 had been charged on my card for an Amazon purchase, alongside a transfer to Western Union. They urged me to press 1 to sort it out. Not a chance I’m falling for that!
