Then, a lady with a foreign accent rang up and claimed to be from something akin to Road Traffic Control. She launched into a spiel about whether I had been involved in an accident, either as a driver or passenger. I wasn't interested, so I ended the call promptly. However, upon checking my phone, I noticed I had a call from this same number last week. It appears to be one of those "ambulance chaser" scams. Thought it might be wise to share this with others.
