4 yearsI had quite the encounter with a rather insistent woman who wouldn’t take no for an answer. She was trying to peddle an iPhone 13 along with a supposedly unlimited data plan for just £9.99 a month. Frankly, that sounded too good to be true. In my experience, such outlandish deals that come via phone more often than not signal a con. And lo and behold, this one turned out to be just that-a scam!Frankly4 yearsJust a total scam, watch out!4 yearsSomeone tried to sell me an i13 phone, claiming it was new and ready. When it arrived, they soon rang up telling me it was the wrong model and asked me to send it back. They promised another one would be sent out, but nothing turned up at all. Meanwhile, direct debits for a Virgin contract started appearing on my bank statements, but Virgin had no clue about any agreement.
