Had a long chat about stopping annoying calls, and then he asked for my debit card details to confirm my account. I told him straight up he was a scammer, but he kept going and got really pushy!

I picked up the phone and there was a strange pause, then suddenly loads of people talking in the background. Definitely felt like a scam call.

Got a call on my landline from someone claiming to be from TPS. They asked if I was still getting annoying calls and offered to upgrade me. I said sure, go ahead. Then they wanted to check the expiry date on my card that supposedly pays the phone bill. I said I don’t pay a separate phone bill - it’s all in a package and I pay by direct debit anyway. Plus, TPS is free, so there’s no way I’m sharing any card info. Felt a bit dodgy to me, like a scam. They started pushing, so I told them to forget it. Normally, I just ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise anyway, then I hung up.
