I received a rather unpleasant call from a finance company that goes by blackandwhite.co.uk, trying to persuade me to consolidate my debts through a loan backed by my property. The very first question they posed was whether I owned my home. Quite intrusive, if you ask me. It seems their tactics are rather pushy; they initially contacted us from a 0845 number (0845 1301829) and, when I didn't pick up the phone for that one, they decided to try their luck again shortly afterwards with this new number. Quite cheeky, if I'm honest!
