Got a call today from 01543 474893, a landline number. It was a recorded message claiming to be from the bank’s card department but they never said which bank. They said £300 had been charged on Amazon earlier and another £1,700 sent to an international account. Sounded fishy to me. They told me to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to talk to someone. Didn’t recognise the number at all. Definitely a scam!
